Lottie

Happily retired with my husband and living in a beautiful historic village in Norfolk. (famous for the Lincoln family who emigrated with other village artisans to the New World - Abraham Lincoln being the famous grandson.)

I made my first three cards in December 2007 and I cringe when I look back at them! Having been invited to join a small forum around that time, I was soon introduced to the wonderful world of paper art and craft. From then on I was hooked, and thanks to the generosity of like minded crafters who share expertise so generously, providing internet links, examples of their work on forums and blogs, I have been inspired to try all sorts of mixed media techniques. It would be difficult to pin point any one favourite as I tend to try out everything I possibly can. Being an impulsive person I rarely decide what I am going to do until I am in my studio.

I enjoy experimenting with rubber stamping, embossing, ink, paint, chalk, pencils, all sorts of materials to include metal, card, mount-board, fabrics, plastics, altered art....ad infinitum.  I am like a reborn child - and at my happiest being messy - hence the studio shed in the garden!

Other hobbies include being passionate about an almost self sufficient life and all it entails, rare breed bantams, and a list of hobbies too long to list!
