Watering Can Shaped Card!

Step 2

Cut the template out twice. Put adhesive on the spout, and glue the pieces together. Bend the back piece back at the base of the spout, so that the front piece remains flat, and the back piece is bent to see the message.

You can have the card opening either on the left or right, but although it’s unusual I think it looks better with the handle on the left.

There are additional bits on the template for you to add if you wish - a couple of strips for an embossed ridge look to the watering can, and another piece to add to the handle for extra effect.

The flowers on my watering can are mounted on a Memory Box Madera Corner die, cut up to create flower stems. The flowers themselves are from a box of sequins by CraftTime, and have a dot of glitter glue in the centre.

The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.

The oval and scalloped oval are punched using Stampin’ Up! punches.
