Basket of Tulips Instructions

Take the front basket piece, the piece without the handle, and put a thin strip of glue along the top.  Add your twisted strip to this so that it sticks up over the top. Add the thin strip to the bottom too.

Cut out your templates, and if you are cutting by hand stick the handle of the back basket piece to the basket as shown on the PDF template.

Take your two wavy strips and wrap them round each other as shown above. They will lie flat when in position.

The attached twisted strip should look like this - the top of the basket should not be visible, it is just above halfway down the strip.

Place your back basket piece, the one with the handle, on to the placing template.

Lay the top flowers in place, and lay their stems in place on top of them. The bottom of the stems should not be below the score line of the basket. When you are happy they are in place, stick the stem to the flower - NOT TO THE BASKET!

When dry remove the flowers, and do the same with the bottom two flowers, putting them in place with the stems and then gluing the stem to the flower - NOT THE BASKET!
