Here’s how Netti altered her peg . .

First I painted it in Eco Green acrylic paint - Melon.
I then swished  on some Eco Green Gold and Copper randomly with a piece of kitchen roll. I Stamped a music stamp with Stazon on the inside, and painted the side edges freehand with gold and copper stripes.

I stamped a large music stave by Stampendous on one face and quotation by Stamping Sensations on the other, edging both topsides with Timber Brown Stazon to distress. I then coated it all with Americana Satin Varnish.

I ran two small pieces of copper metal through the Cuttlebug using Tim Holtz Alterations Scallops Sizzix Die. I painted one piece with a mixed acrylic paint - Copper and Black - to make a dark brown. While still wet I sprinkled this with gold E.P. randomly and heated till it bubbled a bit.

I ran another piece of copper metal through with the Sizzlits Swallow Die then embossed both this and the second Scallop piece using Cuttlebug a swirly emobssing folder, and swiped it with Timber Brown Stazon.

I stuck all these pieces to the peg, plus the little circles that came out of the Scallops piece which I used on some of the large notes.
