Valentine Hearts Forever!

Another card that really has the Wow factor, yet with our templates and instructions is incredibly easy to make! Hand cutters don’t be put off! A heart is easy to cut out when the card is folded in half!

This really is as easy as sticking 5 pieces of card together!

Let’s go . . .

Project and template designed by Sara Sandberg.

Step 1

Cut your templates out, and lay them in order as shown, smallest card with biggest heart on top. I have sponged the edges with black ink. You can use the hearts you cut out for your cover, which I was going to, but changed my mind later on!

Step 2

Take your larger piece of card and lay it on your work surface as shown.

Put a thin strip of adhesive along the very edge as shown.

Step 3

Stick the next sized down piece to it being careful to align the sides.

Step 4

Add a thin piece of adhesive to the edge of that piece as shown, and stick the next size down piece to it.

Repeat this process until you have all your pieces attached and it looks as shown below.

Step 5

Fold the top piece up.

Put a thin piece of adhesive on the back of the folded up piece as shown below.

Now fold up the next piece, to stick to that adhesive.

Step 6

Now put adhesive on the back of that folded piece as shown, and fold the next layer up and over to stick to it.

Repeat this process until all pieces are folded up and attached.

When opened out, your piece now looks like this;
