I've been a member of the Cardmaking Paradise Forum since it started and it has given me lots of inspiration and many new friends. I used to do cross-stitching, but it was when I saw card-making demonstrated at a craft fair, some 7 years ago, that I decided to have a go. I started off using peel-offs and simple toppers, but once I discovered the magic of stamping and heat embossing, I was well and truly hooked. As well as getting ideas from the Forum, I subscribe to a couple of magazines and have found lots of inspiration from surfing the net. I love using inks and find the whole process of cutting, sticking, inking, stamping and crafting in general, relaxing and very therapeutic.

I live in the London Borough of Barnet, just on the edge of Hertfordshire and although Central London is within quick and easy reach, there are very few craft shops around, which is one of the reasons that I try to go to as many craft fairs as possible. I know it is easy to buy just about anything on-line, but there is nothing like actually seeing the products demonstrated to find out what is available.

Crafting takes up much of my time, but I still find time for friends and family, reading and even doing an aquarobics class a couple of times a week.

Happy Crafting!
