We produce the instructions in a printer friendly format for those of you who don’t craft near your computers and prefer to print the instructions to use.

When clicking the template links, if your computer settings are not allowing them to open as you would expect, right click the link and select ‘save link as’ - you can then save it direct to your computer.

Shed Shaped Card Instructions

Shed Shaped Card

With pull tab, open door mechanism

Please read this before starting!

The mechanism of this card needs room to move - here you  can see an aerial view of it mid pull!

This means that a thick paper or very thin card is needed for this project, otherwise the mechanism will be squashed too flat and not be able to push the card out to move.

Wood Effect

To get a wood effect background, simply Google ‘wood effect background’ and then select to view images. This will give you lots of images you can print off and use. I couldn’t do it this way for my project as to show a card using that image would breach the copyright.

To see how I draw a wood effect click here. Seriously, the worse you are at drawing, the better your wood will look!

PDF users, you can choose whether you want to print the templates with lines to draw wood, or blank.  You need to print all three templates for whichever one you choose.
