Surprise Slider Card

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 4

Cut two pieces of card 13 x 9 cm for the inserts. Round the corners
of one end.  Decorate the inserts as you wish, remembering only
two thirds of it will be visible and that they will be coming out at
opposite ends.

Step 5

Step 6

Slide the join to the left hand side – for

smoothness we want it to slide along the flat surface, not to go over to the other side.  Attach some double sided tape to the join for the slider to stick to.

Step 7

Take the inside slider that will be coming out of the right hand side of the card. (make sure it you have got it the right way up for how it will come out!)  Line it up straight with the outside of the card, so that it is in place for it’s ‘in’ position, keeping the left hand side raised off the double sided tape.  When you are happy with the position, press it down to stick.

Fold the slider over, and with
the right hand slider pushed in,
attach double sided tape to the
righthand side.
Align  the left slider with the
outside edge, and when you
are happy with the position,
press it down to stick.

Step 8

Step 8

Fold the cover round and stick the flap to the back cover.  Don’t wrap it too

tightly or the slider’s won’t slide easily. you can now decorate the front!
